Stefan Johnson always had a vision—one rooted in family, flavor, and community. For years, he dreamed of owning his own business, a place that felt like home and served food that made people smile. So when the opportunity came to purchase Press Waffle, he didn't hesitate. On November 3, 2025, with keys in hand and purpose in his heart, Stefan officially opened the doors to The Spot.
But this wasn't just a name change—it was a new beginning. Stefan expanded the menu with bold flavors and family inspiration. One of the first additions was The Connor, named after his son and originally served as a slider. As The Spot has grown, so has The Connor—now a full-size burger featuring smoked bacon, cheddar jack cheese, bacon jam, and plenty of flavor. Soon after came The Jules, a sweet waffle creation inspired by his daughter—bright, comforting, and with just the right touch of flair.
What makes The Spot truly special isn't just the menu. It's the people behind it. Connor and Jules work side-by-side with their dad, and the entire team feels like family—because they are. Whether by blood or by bond, everyone who walks through the doors becomes part of something bigger than a meal.
And now, that dream is growing.
In September 2026, The Spot became The Spot Social, expanding into a bigger space designed for even more food, friends, and fun. The new location brings everything people loved about The Spot into a space with room to gather, connect, celebrate, and stay awhile—with an expanded menu, a full bar, more seating, and a dance floor.
The name may have grown, and the space may be bigger, but the heart behind it remains the same: family, flavor, and community.
