Stefan Johnson always had a vision—one rooted in family, flavor, and community. For years, he dreamed of owning his own business, a place that felt like home and served food that made people smile. So when the opportunity came to purchase Press Waffle, he didn't hesitate. On November 3rd, with keys in hand and purpose in his heart, Stefan officially opened the doors to The Spot.

But this wasn't just a name change—it was a rebirth. Stefan expanded the menu with bold flavors and family inspiration. One of the first new additions was The Connor slider, named after his son: a hearty bite with smoked bacon, cheddar jack cheese, bacon jam, and love layered into every bun. Soon after came The Jules, a sweet waffle creation inspired by his daughter—bright, comforting, and just the right touch of flair.

What makes The Spot truly special isn't just the menu. It's the people behind it. Connor and Jules now work side-by-side with their dad, and the entire team feels like family—because they are. Whether by blood or bond, everyone who walks into The Spot becomes part of something more than a meal.
